In this 5 part series we explore what goes into making you the best version of yourself for your family, for your business, AND FOR YOURSELF! How does the best version of you show up as often as possible? How do you create a life that supports her??
In this episode you will learn how making sure that your basic needs are being met can be the key to showing up as your best self every freaking day.
Here are three things to consider to make sure your basic needs are being met...be sure to listen to the podcast for more details...
- Humans need sleep - you will be more likely to be able to show up as the best version of you if you are well rested. QUANTITY AND QUALITY. How can you prioritize sleep to make sure you show up as the best version of YOU?
- Humans need food - you are going to be a better version of yourself if you aren't hungry. Take time for lunch. If you need breakfast, be sure to eat it. Eat healthy satisfying meals that power you through the day. Set yourself up for success!
- Don't work against yourself - there are things for ALL of us that we do that we know are not the best choice for us - maybe it's a food you KNOW is going to upset your stomach, maybe it's watching a movie that you know is going to make it so you don't sleep, maybe it's going for a run and not stretching after - create days that are as pain free as possible.
When your basic needs are met - sleep, food, pain-free - you are creating conditions that support you showing up as the best version of yourself.
